The character of the building reflects the context in which it is located. Vista Street frontage is set in a moderately quiet residential context.
The composition of facade elements is sympathetic to the scale of the surrounding residential houses and lower scale buildings. The combination of facade articulation and landscaping successfully emphasise the building entry.
The facades of the building define a hierarchy for the site. Vista Street facade is primary and the facades looking to the side setbacks maintain a secondary role.
However, through materials & facade articulation & colour, both facades pursue rationality, clarity, proportion and rhythm which results in a simple elegance.
